They will add your report to their Google map. <\/p>\n<p>&rarr; <a href=\"https:\/\/cicadas.uconn.edu\">Cicadas @ UCONN (formerly Magicicada.org)<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Citizen Science Projects<\/h2>\n<p>Want to participate in a cicada community science project? Check out <a href=\"http:\/\/hydrodictyon.eeb.uconn.edu\/projects\/cicada\/citizen\/citizen.php\">the cicada science projects on Cicada Central<\/a>. There is the The Simon Lab Nymph Tracking Project and a Magicicada Biology Class Exercise.<\/p>\n<p>If you are in Ohio or Kentucky and spot a periodical cicada this year (2014), send <a href=\"http:\/\/faculty.msj.edu\/kritskg\/cicada\/Site\/Report_a_2014_emergence.html\">a geo-tagged cellphone photo to Gene Kritsky<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.yourwildlife.org\/2014\/05\/send-us-your-dead-cicadas\/\">Your Wild Life<\/a> wants your dead cicadas! They will use them to study the effects of urbanization (pollution, etc.) on the cicadas.<\/p>\n<h2>Discuss cicadas on Twitter<\/h2>\n<p>Use hash tags like <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=cicadas&#038;src=typd\">#cicadas<\/a> for general cicada issues.
