Male uncus not hooked at the extremity, sometimes sinuate. <\/p>\n<p>BB. Stouter bodied species, the fore and hind wings variegated with orange and black at the base. <\/p>\n<p>C. Third marginal cell more than one half as long as second ulnar area adjoining and immediately behind it. <\/p>\n<p>DD. Expand about 52 mm., usually much less. <\/p>\n<p>GG. Fore and hind wings clear except at the extreme base, where the membranes are orange. <\/p>\n<p>Smaller and darker than the last; head small; front not so prominent. Venation approaching the next two species.
