Me and my children have not been outside in weeks because of my phobia of bugs. I know they don’t bite I know they are harmless but I fear bugs! My skin crawls knowing they are out there and I lose it at least 3x a day!! Please when will thus go away!!!!! I want to go outside!!!!! Also will we wake up one day and its just all over or do the slowly go away??

Rain and cool weather can prolong that time. Probably the worst part of having a garden party would be the odor the dead ones create. Make sure you clean up.

They are everywhere. Their shells are still attached to my house afterwards. Don’t tell me to get over it….they freak me out. I leave my house and feel like we are being invaded by locusts!!! The sound is unbelievably loud and I am petrified of being bitten. It’s just gross. I live in the woods in PA. I’ve been here almost 20 years and NEVER saw anything like this!!!
