Guys:
When I crack open a cicada-dropped twig, it is easy to spot little white grub-like items in various places along the stem.
1. Are those eggs or hatched little cicadas? Got any pictures?
2. Do the adult cicadas deliberately sever the twig ends, or try to, so that they flal the twigs drop to the ground?
THANKS!
