  2. Are these white eyed cicadas or marble eyed ones, blind? I noticed that the dead ones have black eyes, or even gold colored eyes… but I’m supposing that’s due to the fact that they are dead. I’ve never seen one with any of these color variations you posted here. Very interesting. In what part of the country were these found? Would love to know more… I am thoroughly fascinated by these creatures!

  3. They’re not blind, just a different pigmentation or lack there of. You should be able to find one if you look for a very long time in an area where they’re currently emerging.
