Brood XIV emergence in Mariemont Ohio
Hot off the camcorder: 17 year cicada video from Mariemont Ohio. Today Roy Troutman and I met up with cicada expert Gene Kritsky in Mariemont Ohio, where they’re having an awesome emergence. The video should give you a good idea of the number of cicadas that emerged. Towards the end, Gene uses his pen to demonstrate how thick the pile of nymphal skins was. Plus me with a handful of cicadas.

I’m in Nashville Tennessee and have yet to see or even hear a cicada this year they should have been out here almost a month ago??? we are listed on the emergence map Davidson county Nashville Tennessee?

There have been verified sightings around Nashville. Check out the map on magicicada.org.
