Michigan Tibicen
Anyone want to try to guess at the species of this Tibicen? The photo was taken by Don in Michigan. My guess is T. davisi, but I’m almost just as sure that I’m wrong.

Tenerals are tough without known it’s size. I see two possibilities
1). T. canicularis which is the Northern Dog Day Cicada, T. davisi is more southern in its
distribution.
2). T. linnei which I believe is in Michigan. The reason it may be this species are the central
bends on the costal margines of the forewings.
Just my two cents.
