insects from the forests of Chiang Mai is an excellent website featuring many photos and audio recordings of cicadas from Thailand. If you want to explore cicadas around the world, it’s a great place to start.

Michel Boulard’s book “The cicadas of Thailand” vol 1 is available at around USD$25 (check google- on ebay for $49.95!!) and it has an accompanying CD with 40 cicada songs.

This is a very good Book, I’ve been reading it and like the parts Boulard talks about the sudtrainin life under ground. It has alot of great pictures.
