My 13 birth day is coming soon, and i want to swim in my pool in my back yard. The cicadas are going to ruin my party, on my big 13, and im really depressed. I cant cope with it and i wanna know what anyone has to say.

I wouldn’t say so. do you live around the chicago area or anywhere in the brood XIII range? They aren’t that bad. they can’t hurt you, they just fly around and sing. i love them and im actually going to the chicago area just to see them emerge.
